Nevado Ecuador. (NE)

OBJECTIVES:

The expansion of 40.000 m2 with more rose plants and with it the consolidation of an already functioning rose-plantation up to 300,000 m2. .

DESCRIPTION:

Situated at 140 Kms south of Quito, Ecuador. The Nevado Ecuador (NE) plantation consists of 613.713 m2 of farmland. On this land NE has, so far, constructed 260.667 m2. of greenhouses with a now functioning production of roses, post-harvest facilities, cooling rooms, offices, ample reservoirs, etc. The production started in January 1998.
NE currently employs 286 workers and 18 administrative personnel.

SUSTAINABILITY:

The owner has been and is actively involved in the rose-industry since 1965.
