The expansion of 50,000 m2 with more rose plants and thus the consolidation to 50 hectares. |

DESCRIPTION: |
Situated at 140 Kms south of Quito,
Ecuador, the Nevado Ecuador (NE) plantations consist
of 100 has of farmland. On these farms NE has, so far,
constructed 45 has. of greenhouses with a now functioning
production of roses, post-harvest facilities, cooling
rooms, offices, ample reservoirs, etc. The production
started in January 1998.
NE currently employs more than 500 workers including 30 administrative
personnel. |

The farm administrators have been and
are actively involved in the rose industry since 1965. |
